Fran is the Chief Executive of the Horticultural Trades Association – representing 1400 growers, garden centres, landscapers and manufacturers throughout the UK’s environmental horticulture supply chain and running the country’s largest garden gift card scheme. As HTA CEO Fran has led a period of transformation, strengthening member engagement and increasing the HTA’s influence and impact. Fran is also a Board member of the Trade Association Forum. Previously Fran was Director of Communications at the National Farmers Union for 11 years leading on public affairs, campaigns and communications and spent 20 years in editorial roles at the BBC before that.
