John is CEO of The Institute of Leadership, and has held senior positions in the UK, Europe, South East Asia, and the Middle East. He sits on the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council, andis an advisor to Newcastle Business School. He is a former consultant to the UN International Trade Centre in Geneva, and a guest lecturer at universities in the UK and Europe. His interests include sports psychology, mountain biking, coaching, and writing articles about arcane economic issues.
