BEST ASSOCIATION NEWSLETTER, BLOG, ONLINE OR PHYSICAL PUBLICATION (CIRCULATION UP TO 6,500)
ENT UK – Newsletter
The ENT UK Newsletter goes out fortnightly to more than 2,300 members and is written and edited in-house by the ENT UK communications staff. Over the past two years, the association has made a series of vital changes to the newsletter, prompted initially by the Covid-19 pandemic and culminating in a visual redesign and relaunch in April 2022. At the height of the pandemic, the newsletter played a vital role in supporting our members by rapidly sharing Covid-specific information and updates, alerting them to potentially lifesaving guidance we were publishing and providing the specialty with an essential channel for the spread of information from the frontline. Since then, as we have developed and improved the newsletter, circulation has increased 25% and average engagement rates have jumped 69%, with the newsletter currently enjoying a 58.8% engagement rate – more than two-thirds again Mail Chimp’s published average of 34.7% among comparable organisations. These impressive figures demonstrate the publication’s relevance to members and the vital role it plays in advancing ENT UK’s aims, not least in expanding our membership.
