BEST CELEBRATORY EVENT
ACCA – ACCA UK New Member Celebrations
In 2025, ACCA transformed its New Member Ceremonies from informal gatherings into formal, regional celebrations—designed to truly honour our members’ achievements. Held in London, Cardiff, and Glasgow on three consecutive weeks, the events offered geographic inclusivity and built momentum across social media.
Each ceremony gave every new member their moment on stage, creating a memorable and personal welcome into the ACCA community. With inspirational speakers, networking opportunities, and signposting to support services, the events were designed not just to celebrate, but to connect and empower.
The results exceeded expectations: over 350 attendees, an outstanding NPS of 80 among new members, and strong early interest in the 2026 series. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with members describing the experience as “inspiring,” “uplifting,” and “professionally delivered.”
This reimagined approach reflects ACCA’s commitment to inclusivity, professionalism, and meaningful member engagement—and sets a new standard for how we celebrate success.
AXREM – AXREM Imaging IT Manifesto Launch
The Imaging IT Manifesto event, held at the historic Bletchley Park Museum, marked a major milestone for the AXREM Imaging IT Specialist Focus Group. The group recognised a need for a shared vision that clearly articulated how Imaging IT contributes to patient care.
The idea for the event originated from a desire to spotlight the pivotal role of imaging IT in tackling key NHS challenges, particularly in diagnostic backlogs, workforce efficiency, interoperability, and digital transformation. The group sought to produce a bold, forward-thinking document – the Imaging IT Manifesto – Here to Enhance Patient Care and Improve Outcomes – and launch it in a way that would capture the attention of decision-makers, policymakers, NHS stakeholders, and the broader medical imaging community.
Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers – CIBSE Building Performance Awards
At a time when our world is in climate crisis, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers’ Building Performance Awards is so much more than a celebration event. It is an awards scheme helping to save the planet.
They recognise the businesses, manufacturers and people making a measurable impact in engineering a sustainable built environment.
And while the awards have existed for more than a decade, they have arguably never been more important – and so their impact and their success is growing.
oneworld – 25th Anniversary Gala
To mark the 25th anniversary of the oneworld alliance, a bold and immersive celebration was held in London at Frameless, the UK’s largest multi-sensory art venue. The event brought together around 400 media, influencers, C-suite executives, airline partners, and key stakeholders to spotlight oneworld’s evolution and global reach. Designed to reflect the alliance’s innovation, digital transformation, and premium customer experience, the evening offered a fully immersive journey through aviation and culture.
Guests explored four transformed art galleries, each representing different aspects of oneworld’s story—from virtual flypasts of all member airlines to a visual maze of milestones and a global cultural showcase. A recreated oneworld lounge highlighted the alliance’s new airport lounges in Amsterdam and Seoul, complete with projected design elements. Attendees sampled First and Business Class cuisine from all 15 member airlines, enjoyed a signature anniversary cocktail, and engaged with cutting-edge VR and product exhibits including aircraft seating.
The event was more than a celebration—it was a full sensory experience that demonstrated oneworld’s commitment to global connectivity, innovation, and seamless travel. It also set a new benchmark for airline events, blending brand storytelling, experiential design, and employee pride into one unforgettable evening.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development – The People Management Awards
The 2024 CIPD People Management Awards achieved more than just operational success—they rekindled community spirit, brought meaningful innovations to a legacy event, and helped reframe HR as central to business and societal success.
Through a meticulously crafted attendee journey, creative communications, measurable impact and strategic alignment, the PMAs delivered against every objective—and set a new benchmark for association-led celebration events.
The Institute of Leadership – The Leadership Awards
The Leadership Awards 2024 from The Institute of Leadership deserves recognition not just for what it celebrated, but for how it brought leadership to life for people across the globe. From its purpose to its planning, its guest experience to the conversations it’s still sparking, this event wasn’t just a one-night occasion, it’s become a cornerstone of how The Institute champions leadership in all its forms.
The Investor Relations Society – Friends, Fellows and Advocates Reception
In 2023 the Society introduced our Friends, Fellow and Advocates Reception as an opportunity for us to formally thank these volunteers for their generosity and to recognise their contributions by treating them to a special event.
We wanted this invitation-only event to be exclusive and aspirational. With this in mind our events manager was charged with finding unusual venues that attendees were unlikely to have attended before and we undertook to find a sponsor for the event each year so that we could cater the event at the desired level.
The inaugural event was held in the canal-side Battlebridge Room at Kings Place in Kings Cross, the 2024 event was held at Hithe & Seek at the Westin Hotel in Blackfriars and the 2025 event was held at The Victorian Bath House in City of London.
Attendee feedback has been extremely positive, with those who are invited being extremely grateful to have their contributions recognised in this way, and with those who have not been invited enquiring about how they might go about getting an invitation next year!
“A massive thank you for the do yesterday evening – great fun, a really good event, a privilege to be invited.”
The Law Society – Admissions Ceremonies
Becoming a solicitor is a momentous achievement after years of hard work and it deserves to be celebrated in style. The Law Society, the independent professional body for solicitors in England and Wales, honours this milestone with a special celebration. At our Admissions Ceremonies, newly qualified solicitors come together with friends and family to commemorate their achievement in a graduation style event filled with celebration, recognition and unforgettable memories.
Our Admissions Ceremonies are usually the first contact that newly qualified solicitors have with our organisation. They have taken place for 70+ years, with very little change until 2024 when a cross-team working group came together to elevate the experience, maximise commercial opportunities and build the foundations of a career-long relationship.
The evolution of our Admissions Ceremonies has not only enhanced the way we celebrate newly qualified solicitors, but also deepened engagement with members at a crucial stage in their career. From data driven planning and targeted marketing to themed innovations, every step has been taken to grow and enhance the celebration. These ceremonies are more than just a rite of passage, they are a celebration of achievement, pride and belonging to a 200 year old society.
