American Chamber of Commerce to the EU – AmCham EU 60th Anniversary Gala
All throughout 2023, the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham EU) celebrated 60 years of advocating for American companies committed to Europe. On the occasion of AmCham EU’s 60th anniversary, AmCham EU hosted an exceptional Gala at the Africa Palace in Tervuren, Belgium, with approximately 500 guests featuring dining, entertainment, and music from the renowned NATO SHAPE International Band. Among other high-level guests, Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium, and Kaja Kallas, Prime Minister of Estonia, opened the event with a fireside-chat on the importance of the transatlantic relationship. The evening also included a performance from one of the top laureates of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition and the presentation of the winner of the AmCham EU Youth Entrepreneurship Award by European Commission Vice-President, Věra Jourová. The objectives of AmCham EU’s 60th Anniversary Gala were twofold: firstly, to celebrate 60 years of advocacy for American businesses in Europe and the 30th anniversary of the Single Market; and secondly, to highlight the U.S. business community’s ongoing commitment to jobs and investment in the EU over the past six decades and into the future.

Builders Merchants Federation – Top 100 Suppliers May 2023
An innovative campaign, that leaves a lasting legacy, the BMF’s celebration of the vital role suppliers bring to the building materials industry brought new levels of creativity to the multi-billion pound sector.
Mirroring the role of media influencers, who are used by high-profile, global brands to position their goods and services to the widest audience for maximum impact, the BMF turned the concept on its head and used the same powers of social media buzz, media coverage, video and a glitzy event for its own Top 100 Supplier Influencers.
In keeping with the power of the influencer model, as a trade association, the BMF wanted to ensure that the Influencers were recognised in the right environment – and that the campaign was highly relevant and the information specific to the audience.
To make the Top 100 Supplier Influencer list, those recognised reached key criteria in specific categories:
- Involvement
- Presence
- Charity & community work
- Commitment to the industry as a whole
The campaign culminated with the Supplier Influencers Gala Dinner, held at The Belfry Hotel in May 2023.
The Top 100 were made Fellows of the IOBM and also invited to join the IOBM’s new Mentoring Platform.
Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers – CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2023 & 2024
At a time when our world is in climate crisis, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers’ Building Performance Awards is so much more than a celebration event. It is an awards scheme helping to save the planet.
Buildings are currently responsible for 39% of the world’s energy-related carbon emissions (Source: World Green Building Council). 28% from operational emissions – from energy needed to heat, cool and power them – and the remaining 11% from materials and construction.
While constructing and refurbishing new buildings is essential for humanity to live, survive and thrive, responsible construction industry professionals are determined to reduce the industry’s detrimental impact on our environment.
This is where the CIBSE Building Performance Awards come in. They recognise the businesses, manufacturers and people making a measurable impact in engineering a sustainable built environment.
While the awards have existed for more than a decade, they have arguably never been more important – and so their impact and their success is growing.
Independent Publishers Guild – The IPG Independent Publishing Awards Gala Lunch 2024
The Independent Publishing Awards are a joyous celebration of success organised by the IPG, the UK’s largest association of publishers. Established in 2007, they have presented more than 230 Awards to more than 100 companies and individuals so far, and recent editions have been the biggest yet in terms of entries, nominations, guests and sponsorship. They have pivoted from a part of the IPG’s Spring Conference to a standalone lunchtime occasion at the OXO Tower Brasserie in London that is now one of the highlights of the publishing year.
Growth has brought challenges. In 2024, demand led us to expand capacity at the Awards to two rooms. This required a creative solution of a two-stage set-up with joint presenters and live broadcasts—a complex logistical task that was delivered seamlessly. Our latest Awards lunch was another sell-out, with 14 category sponsors, a 54% increase in revenue and some very happy winners. Guest comments included: “It was great to see such a celebration of the vibrant spirit of independent publishing … It’s wonderful to have so much talent all together sharing a common passion… I was bowled over by the panache, fun and inspiration—take a bow, IPG.”
