Energy Industries Council – Bankable Energies
Bankable Energies, launched in London in February 2025 by the Energy Industries Council (EIC), is a bold and innovative response to one of the energy sector’s most urgent challenges: the alarmingly low Final Investment Decision (FID) rates in clean tech projects. Leveraging insights from EICDataStream, one of the world’s leading energy project tracking platforms, this inaugural event was purpose-built to bring together policymakers, financiers, developers, and the supply chain to tackle the investment bottlenecks stalling the global energy transition.
Over two days, the event brought together 150 delegates, 70 expert speakers, 16 focused sessions, and 8 interactive roundtables, with an agenda shaped by a senior advisory board. Keynotes from the European Commission, Shell, and Sizewell C set the tone for a programme focused on solution-driven dialogue.
A high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaign ensured senior-level participation and visibility. Beyond the event, Bankable Energies now forms a year-round initiative, with regional roundtables and dedicated sessions at EIC’s flagship conference and exhibition, Energy Exports Conference (EEC).
Bankable Energies is a strategic platform for unlocking clean tech investment, showcasing investment pathways, de-risking project delivery, and fostering cross-sector collaboration which is essential to accelerating the global transition to net zero.
Eurogas – EU Methane Emissions Conference
In light of ongoing industry uncertainty both in the EU and abroad around the implementation of the EU Methane Regulation (EU MR), Eurogas recognised a need for continued advocacy on this topic and therefore created an in-person conference in 2025 which would enable policy decisionmakers, experts and industry from Europe and beyond to exchange views and insights on the solutions.
We explored which parts of the Regulation were causing the most controversy, uncertainty and debate, to create a programme and ensure a lively, productive and useful discussion for participants.
The format featured forward-thinking speeches with Ditte-Juul Jørgensen (European Commission) and MEP Jutta Paulus (European Parliament). It also differentiated itself by virtue of securing speakers from international thought leaders & decision-making bodies, including the Internal Energy Agency, the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security, and Clean Air Task Force.
This also presented Eurogas members with a unique opportunity to engage with critical influencers on a highly impactful topic.
Given how topical the Methane Regulation is likely to remain over the course of the next few years, the +170-participation secured, high-level speakers attracted, and sponsor’ satisfaction, we are already exploring a 2nd edition of this event in 2026!
National Housing Federation & The Chartered Institute of Housing, The Housing Community Summit
The Housing Community Summit is a new concept for housing events. Bringing together the power and influence of the sector’s two largest membership organisations – the National Housing Federation (NHF) and the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) – this flagship partnership event has been created by the sector, for the sector. The event brings the UK housing sector together under one roof to discuss and tackle the issues facing the sector economically and politically.
In its first year the Housing Community Summit surpassed all expectations, welcoming over 2,600 participants on-site, all of whom had purchased their tickets in advance, meaning the event was completely sold out days before.
Exhibition space also sold out months in advance, with many organisations requesting to join a waiting list for an opportunity to exhibit at the event. With sold out capacity, the event still achieved a remarkable 91% satisfaction rate among attendees.
Delegates expressed their enthusiasm for this ground breaking and brand new collaboration between the two biggest housing membership bodies in the UK, National Housing Federation (NHF) and the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) each time new information was announced.
Propertymark – #PMOne
PMOne – Redefining Sector Events Through Member-Led Innovation
PMOne is Propertymark’s pioneering in-house conference, conceived as a practical, education-first alternative to traditional award-centric events. Its mission is to empower property professionals through high-quality learning, inclusive networking, and authentic sector leadership.
Driven by member consultation and sector research, the event was co-designed with 85 volunteer ambassadors, ensuring it was relevant, accessible, and inclusive. From neurodivergent-friendly venue design to member-curated breakout sessions, PMOne prioritised co-creation and community ownership.
Its sponsorship model also broke new ground—tailored packages, lead capture tools, and content collaboration created high exhibitor ROI, evidenced by widespread on-the-day rebookings for 2025. Marketing was strategic and ambassador-led, utilising user-generated content, cross-platform promotion, and a bold visual identity that lifted post-event engagement by 33%.
Key member benefits included real-time tech-enabled interactivity, a welcoming ambassador presence, and a focus on learning over accolades. The format allowed delegates to shape their own experience and return to work with actionable insights.
PMOne exceeded all KPIs—attracting a growing non-member audience, boosting engagement, and delivering significant exhibitor value. More than just an event, PMOne set a new standard for member-led innovation in the sector and created a scalable, inclusive blueprint for the future of professional gatherings.
The Minoritised Life Scientists Future Forum in partnership with Applied Microbiology International entered by Brightelm
In April 2025, the Minoritised Life Scientists Future Forum (MLSFF) was launched as Europe’s first conference dedicated to supporting scientists from marginalised and under-represented backgrounds in the life sciences. Inspired by the long-running ABRCMS event in the U.S., MLSFF was created by and for the community to fill a critical gap in Europe’s scientific landscape, promoting equity, visibility and authentic connection. The inaugural event was delivered with the support of Applied Microbiology International (AMI), whose partnership helped provide the infrastructure to bring MLSFF to life.
The Chartered Institute for Payroll Professionals – Payroll Live
The Chartered Institute for Payroll Professionals (CIPP) serves payroll, pensions and reward professionals. It is the only Chartered professional body for individuals working in payroll in the UK, and is dedicated to raising the profile of payroll in businesses across the world.
Each year CIPP hosts a paid-for, residential Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE) in October. But the Institute wanted to do more to reach members – and in particular non-members.
To meet this need CIPP devised a one-day, free-to-attend conference and exhibition that was launched at Manchester Central on 10 July 2024 – Payroll Live.
The format and programme provided a new opportunity for payroll professionals to stay informed of the latest updates, trends and best practices in the payroll field, as well as to establish connections with relevant suppliers and vendors.
Seminars covered vital topics such as compliance and risk management, how AI and technology can support payroll processing and other relevant subjects. The networking aspect allowed attendees to interact with industry experts, share experiences with peers, and explore services offered by suppliers.
